Family Collaboration: Garden Stack

Build a lasting monument to your family’s creativity in this collaborative hand-building workshop. Instead of working on separate projects, your family will work as a team to design and sculpt a series of oversized ceramic "beads" and textured segments. The result is a vibrant, vertical sculpture for your yard or porch that celebrates your family’s unique "stack" of personalities and memories.

Making Short Comics

Wednesday, July 22, 6-8 PM

Ages 10 - 17

$15 per student

Join local illustrator and cartoonist, Stephen Kissel, for a one night workshop focused on creating your own comic strips! Students will learn the basics of comics structure and pacing, character design, as well as the typical tools and techniques of a cartoonist.

Everyone will walk away with their own hand-drawn and inked comic strip — along with the skills to make more!
