10th Annual National Juried Exhibition

Enjoy our 10th Annual National Juried Exhibition from May 17th - June 25th, 2022. This year's exhibition includes work from 66 artists representing 12 different states. We are also excited to have Nancy Dahlstrom as this years Juror/Judge.
We invite you to join us for the Awards Reception on Friday, June 10, 5-7pm. Comments from the Judge and the awards presentation will begin at 6pm. The reception is open to the public, includes light refreshments and provides guests a chance to speak with attending artists regarding their work.

Bower Center is excited to bring back our Open Mic Night with DJ Showtime, Jon Hayden! Participants will sign up to perform when they arrive. Time will be limited to one song, poetry reading, or other artistic performance per participant but you may sign up to perform more than once. Concessions will be available for purchase.

Join us on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 7-9pm for Los Gatos, a Latin Jazz group based out of Roanoke, VA. The band was developed through the merger of musical influences of musicians from different regions. They will be performing Latin Jazz arrangements of tunes by the late great jazz pianist Chick Corea.

Join us on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 7-8:15pm for Hiroya Tsukamoto, one-of-a-kind composer, guitarist and singer-songwriter from Kyoto, Japan. Hiroya has been leading concerts internationally including several appearances at Blue Note(NYC), United Nations and Japanese National Television(NHK). In 2018, Hiroya won 2nd place in International Finger Style Guitar Championship.

Bower Center Night at the Ballpark

You're Invited to Bower Center Night at the Ballpark on July 3, 2022 at 5PM with the Lynchburg Hillcats. Help us hit our fundraising goal out of the park by purchasing a ticket and joining us at the Lynchburg Hillcats game. A portion of all tickets sold through the link below will support our arts educational programs.

Bower Center Summer Camp's are back and available for children ages 6-15! This year children will be able to create art through the exploration of wellness, Upcycling, STEAM, Myths & Monsters, and/or our earth's Oceans! Camps are one week in length and offered in June & July. Cost is $175 per camp.
