Summer Camp Spotlight: Week 3

Week 3 of Bower Center’s Summer Camp series invites teen artists to embark on a creative journey across the country with Next Gen: Art Across America. Designed for ages 13–17, this immersive camp explores the artists, movements, and cultural influences that have shaped American art over the past 250 years. From colonial folk traditions to bold modern masterpieces, campers will discover the rich artistic heritage of the United States while creating their own work inspired by iconic styles and creative voices.

Held June 22–26, this engaging camp is led by experienced instructors Judy Almond and Peggy Markham and offers both half-day and full-day options to fit summer schedules. Throughout the week, participants will dive into hands-on projects that celebrate creativity, history, and self-expression making connections between the past and their own artistic voices. Whether refining skills or trying something new, Next Gen: Art Across America promises a meaningful and inspiring week for young artists ready to take their creativity further.

Explore all upcoming camps and find the perfect fit for your child ages 6-12 and 13-17.
