Embracing the Unexpected
Explore the vibrant art quilts of Florida fiber artist Ellen Lindner, known for her colorful, abstract designs and hand-printed fabrics. 

 

Fragmentary Forms
Virginia artist Elaine Fleck combines fabric, oils, and even 22kt gold leaf in works inspired by nature’s patterns. Join us for the Artist Reception on Friday, September 12, 5–7 PM.

 

Both exhibits run through September 27.

Gallery Hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 11 am - 3 pm and admission is free.

Art Around the Corner: Katrina…In Its Wake

A moving collaboration of mosaics by Dotti Stone and poetry by Barry Koplen, commemorating the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.

 

This collaborate project is being exhibited to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the devastation that took place in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast when Hurricane Katrina made landfall August 29, 2005. Nearly 2000 lives were lost and thousands more displaced. A book containing the mosaics and poems is available.

 

On view through October 11.
