Adult Clay Open Studio
6 Week Course, January 7 - February 11 meeting on Fridays from 10am-12pm
For students looking for studio time without instruction. For Ages 15 and up. Any level of artist welcome. We have 3 wheel throwing spaces and 4 Handbuilding spaces available. The class fee is $135 for the 6 weeks & 1 bag of clay.

Beginning Wheel Throwing
6 Week Course, January 7 - February 11 meeting on Fridays from 9am-10am
Wheel throwing class for beginner/novice to intermediate for ages 16 and up. Beginners will receive an introduction to throwing techniques: centering clay, forming cylinders, bowls and plate forms. Glazing applications are also covered.

Teen Ceramics Ages 11-15
6 week course meeting on Tuesdays from January 11 - February 15, 4:30-5:30pm.
Geared towards experiencing many aspects of clay making, the students in this class will create handbuilt pottery and sculptures by acquiring basic skills of pinching, coiling and working with slabs. Students will also be glazing all works with our studio’s array of colors.

Wheel Throwing and Hand Building Basics for Adults

You will be learning the basics of wheel throwing, hand building, and surface decoration in this fun and casual class, taught by instructor Kim Clarke. This is a great way for you to take a break and explore your creative side in this fun introduction to clay.

Youth Acrylic and Watercolor Painting
6 Week course, February 2 - March 9 meeting on Wednesday's from 4:30-5:30pm. Ages (9-17)
Have fun being creative with basic to advanced painting with 3 lessons in acrylic and 3 lessons in watercolor techniques. Students will enjoy themes like animals, sea and landscapes, and Folk Art. Students are encouraged to explore and have input as to what they would like to paint.

Mosaic Basics
6 Week course, February 2 - March 9 meeting on Wednesday's from 6-8:30pm. Adult's Only, 18+
Learn the basics of mosaic design, different materials, several methods of construction, cutting glass and porcelain tiles, and explore options for various types of projects. Complete one or two projects, depending on size and complexity. Design your own or select from the instructor’s patterns.

Facing Your Fears: scaling the walls that keep you from growing as an artist.
4 Week course, February 5 - February 26 meeting on Saturday's from 10am-12:30pm.
We all have a tendency to stick with what we are good at. This does help us to further develop our known skill sets but it also limits our ability to stretch and grow as artists. We will spend four 2 1/2 hour sessions tackling techniques and situations that hold many of us hostage and exploring the opportunities that our " mistakes" present.

Mosaic Stepping Stone
5 Week course, February 15 - March 15 meeting on Tuesday's from 2-4:30pm
Steppingstones can be put along the edge of a walkway to be a colorful accent or put in place as a pathway. They can be set into the ground (grass or soil) or a bed of pea gravel to set them off.
