Felt Bird Pods with Dawn Edwards

Saturday, June 10, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Come and enjoy a fun day of wet-felting as you create a felt bird pod which is sure to be a hit with your feathered friends. The bird pod will be made of naturally water repellant wool. Small birds such as Wrens, Nuthatches, and Chickadees will use them for shelter and/or nesting.

This is a great introduction to 3D felting, employing the same techniques used in making hats, bags, slippers, etc. Watch as our flat felt pieces become three-dimensional
