This annual exhibit is an all-media judged exhibit to honor Edna Curry and Dr. John Bower, Bower Center's founding benefactors.

Entries are open to all artists aged 18 and over. All entries must be original works (no reproductions) and created by the artists within the past three years and not been in a previous juried or judged exhibit at Bower Center. Electronic files for the online gallery are required. Follow the file specifications in the yellow box in the center column. 2-D artwork must be secured in sturdy frames or gallery-wrap, and wired for hanging. Saw-tooth hangers or wired loops embedded in cardboard backing will be rejected.
Photographs should be mounted, no rippling of prints showing Max size: 2D 60” in either direction 3D Space for free-standing broad-based sculpture of varying heights is limited.
Contact Bower Center to discuss your entry. Art requiring pedestals is limited to 15”-20” at the base and 3’ - 4’ in height. Note on the entry form if a pedestal is required. Bower Center reserves the right to deny entry any work deemed not suitable to display or too difficult to install.

She lived for 13 years in California, teaching sculpture and women's studies at the University of California/ Santa Cruz. Returning to Southwestern Virginia, she taught studio art as a visiting lecturer for Hollins University, Radford University and Roanoke College, where she was also gallery director and curator of the Olin Hall Galleries for 11 years. In addition to studio art, Linda taught art history for 21 years at Virginia Western Community College. In 2012, Linda completed the American Society of Appraisers Certificate Program at Purchase College, State University of New York, and is a fine art appraiser in addition to maintaining a working sculpture studio.
