Youth Acrylic and Watercolor Painting with Judy Hylton

Wednesdays, March 4 - April 15 (skipping April 8) from 4:30pm to 6pm


Have fun being creative with basic to advanced painting with acrylic and watercolor techniques. Students will begin with themes like animals, sea and landscapes. Children are encouraged to explore and have input as to what they would like to paint. 

Ages 9-17 

A supply list below is provided in advance of the first class and students are welcome to bring their own materials.

Parents need to purchase the following materials for the class: 

  • Suggested painting supplies at Walmart Online: Walmart Royal Big Kids Choice Deluxe Beginner Synthetic paint brush set
  • CansonXL Natural Notebook Watercolor Pad “9X12” natural white paper 30 fold over sheets (3)
  • SAX Genuine Canvas Panel White ”9X12” watercolor paint set
  • Apple Barrel 8oz. Acrylic (Primary Color paints-Red,Blue and Yellow) also White for (tint) and Black for (shade)


Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations made 1 week or more in advance of the class date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 3 - 6 days will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours to the class will not be refunded.
    • Students will have the option to transfer registration to another class in place of receiving a refund.
    • Special consideration will be given to cancellations due to health-related issues and family emergencies.
  • If you plan miss a session of class, please inform your instructor, or email our Program Coordinator, Lauren Hood, at L.hood@bowercenter.org
    • There will be no refunds or discounts given for missed classes.
