Mixed Media Tapestry Weaving: Barn Wood

Description

In this one day workshop, Mixed Media Tapestry Weaving, you will receive hands-on instruction in basic weaving techniques and create a finished tapestry. Participants will use a piece of barn wood as the loom for their tapestry weaving in this workshop. Fiber fun in a relaxed environment! This workshop is for all skill levels; no experience necessary! All materials included.

Instructor Bio:

Beverly Shideler

I started my career working with Interior designers, builders, business and homeowners to create custom architectural ceramic installations. Soon adding mixed media, assemblage work and therapeutic art, while dabbling in watercolor, resin, cement sculpture, landscape design, fabric painting (my Covid skill!), to name a few. In short, I feel the need to constantly add new skills to better communicate through my art.  And that brings me to my newest love, Spinning and WEAVING!

Each skill I learn pushes me to share this new love with others.
