DESCRIPTION:Entry Deadline Extended through Sunday\, March 27!Click Here to View/Download the Call for ArtistsThis exhibition is open to all artists over the age of 18. All entries must be original works (no reproductions) and created by the artists within the past three years and not been in a previous juried exhibit at Bower Center. 2-D art must be in sturdy frames or gallery-wrapped and wired for hanging (no saw-tooth hangers or use of loops embedded in cardboard backing). Photographs should be mounted\, if rippling shows\, they may be rejected.$35 entry fee for up to 3 works of art\, plus $10. for a 4th art entry. Mail to: Bower Center for the Arts\, 305 N Bridge St\, Bedford VA 24523.Judge Bio: Nancy DahlstromBower Center for the Arts is pleased to have Nancy Dahlstrom serve as the juror and judge of the 10th Annual National Juried Exhibition.Nancy\, a retired university art teacher\, most recently at Hollins University\, is well versed in many art media\, has taught a variety of studio art courses for over 40 years\, and is familiar with the particular challenges of producing quality work in different art media.She is an accomplished artist\, having widely exhibited her work locally\nas well as internationally. She has received many awards and recently\nhas collaborated with a group of international artists in producing mezzotints for an annual exchange portfolio.
