In this class\, you will experience throwing on the potter's wheel and learn to make useful pots that you can show to friends and family. You will also learn the basics of surface decorations\, especially glazing. There will be demonstrations and hands-on work in the class. At the class's end\, you will enjoy the confidence to work with clay. Intermediate: Explore the art of clay beyond the fundamentals and into the technicals. Learn how to understand details: execute your ideas\, skill building with the material. Learn the means of manipulating clay to achieve desired results. This involves training your eyes to see which things matter\, and why they make a difference. You will experience demonstrations of throwing more complex shapes\, with hands-on opportunities.
