This annual exhibit is an all-media judged exhibit to honor Edna Curry and Dr. John Bower, Bower Center's founding benefactors. Please note the January 31 date listed on this page refers to the entry deadline. The actual exhibit will take place during the dates listed below.

Entries are open to all artists aged 18 and over. All entries must be original works (no reproductions) and created by the artists within the past three years and not been in a previous juried or judged exhibit at Bower Center. Electronic files for the online gallery are required. File specifications for image uploads include:
- File Format: JPG
- File Name: last name, first name_title of artwork
- 3-D entries should include 2-4 different angles. Email additional files to exhibits@bowercenter.org
2-D artwork must be secured in sturdy frames or gallery-wrap, and wired for hanging. Saw-tooth hangers or wired loops embedded in cardboard backing will be rejected.
Photographs should be mounted, no rippling of prints showing Max size: 2D 42” in either direction 3D Space for free-standing broad-based sculpture of varying heights is limited.
Contact Bower Center to discuss your entry. Art requiring pedestals is limited to 15”-20” at the base and 3’ in height. Note on the entry form if a pedestal is required. Bower Center reserves the right to deny entry any work deemed not suitable to display or too difficult to install.

Judge Bio: Linda Hollett-Bazouzi
World traveler, Linda Hollett-Bazouzi received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in art from Radford University. In 2012 she became a docent at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, serving as Enrichment Coordinator and organizing opportunities for museum docents to enhance their understanding of art studio processes and artists' practices.
Hollett-Bazouzi taught art in Henrico County Public Schools for over 35 years. During that time she was awarded recognition at the state and local level for her art program and achieved National Board Certification in Early/Middle Childhood Art in 2002. She taught adult art classes through Henrico County Parks and Recreation and J. Sargeant Reynold Community College. For more than 20 years she presented workshops for Virginia art teachers at Virginia Art Education State Conferences and Central Region of Virginia mini-conferences.
Her art has received numerous awards, been in many solo and group exhibits, including the 11th Annual National Juried here at Bower Center, and selected for corporate collections.
