Upcycled Art: From Trash to Treasure!

Upcycled Art: From Trash to Treasure!

Monday, June 27, 2022 8:30 AM - Friday, July 1, 2022 1:00 PM (EDT)

Description

Children ages 6-15.

Protecting the environment can start with you! Use discarded and recycled materials to create impressive artworks of different mediums and scale. The sustainable practice of “junk art” offers limitless possibilities. Use plastic bottles to create self-portraits, old books or newspapers to create collage-style paintings, or un-used nuts and bolts to create a sculpture. With recycled art, the possibilities are endless! Let your creativity bloom in this camp and explore the different avenues of sustainability in your artwork.

Instructors:

Perri Mason: Painting & Drawing

Linda Keltz: Paper art & Collages

Emilie Temeles: Varied Projects
