Tea for Two: Elementary Clay

Calling all primary-aged students in Kindergarten through 5th grade!

Tea for Two introduces students to the three basic handbuilding techniques — pinch, coil, and slab — through a fun, tea-time inspired twist! Each week, students will design and create a different tea-themed piece, starting with a sketch before bringing their ideas to life in clay. Students will have the chance to let their imaginations steep as they add whimsical details and colorful decorations to their creations — perfect for a charming tea party for two!

Mondays, January 19 - February 23 from 4:30pm - 6pm

INSTRUCTOR BIO:

Olivia is a hobby ceramicist who learned the art here at the Bower Center and has fallen in love. She has recently built a home studio where she shares her love for ceramics with her two youngest children.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Cancellations made 1 week or more in advance of the class date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 3 - 6 days will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours to the class will not be refunded.
  • Students will have the option to transfer registration to another class in place of receiving a refund.
  • Special consideration will be given to cancellations due to health-related issues and family emergencies.

  • There will be no refunds or discounts given for missed classes.
