Youth Acrylic and Watercolor Painting

Description

Have fun being creative with basic to advanced painting with 3 lessons in acrylic and 3 lessons in watercolor techniques. Students will enjoy themes like animals, sea and landscapes, and Folk Art. Students are encouraged to explore and have input as to what they would like to paint.

 Ages (9-17) Class of 8 students.

Please purchase the following materials for the start of class: Suggested painting supplies available at Wal Mart and online: 

  • Walmart Royal Big Kids Choice Deluxe Beginner Synthetic paintbrush set 
  • CANSON XL Natural Watercolor Notebook Pad 
  • “9x12” Natural White Paper 30fold over sheets 
  • (3) SAX Genuine Canvas Panel white 
  • “9x12” 1 watercolor paint set. 
  • Apple Barrel 8.oz acrylic ( primary color paints -Red, blue and yellow) Also white for (tint) and black for (shade)

This is a 6-week class that meets on Wednesday's from 4:30-5:30. Class begins on February 2 and runs through March 16.
