4th Bower Center Biennial National Juried Fiber Arts Exhibition

We invite you to our 4th Bienniel Fiber Arts National Juried Exhibit!  

The reception and awards ceremony for this exhibition is July 18 from 5-7pm.  Awards presentation and judges comments will begin at 6:00.

We are lucky to have, this year as our judge, Sarah P. Buldoc. In addition to being a curator and lecturer, she is a mixed media artist who creates modern art utilizing varied mediums and her fiber art has attracted much attention.  It has brought to her many local, regional, and national awards, including the 2021 National Juried Best in Show ere at Bower Center for the Arts.

For those who may not know: the basis of fiber arts is fibrous materials, natural or synthtic, and may employ a variety of different techniques and embellishments. These techniques include quilting, knitting, knotting, embroidery, thread painting, collage, weaving, spinning and more.
