Adult Clay Handbuilding with Thomas Kilian

Adult Clay Handbuilding with Thomas Kilian

Tuesday, March 24, 2026 (4:00 PM - 6:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Want to experience clay in a different way other than on a potter’s wheel? This is the class for you. From slab and coiling work to pitch-potting and surface decoration, this class offers an intimate way to express yourself artistically and more instinctively. With some phase-by-phase instruction and demonstration, be freed to create something uniquely you! This is a very laid-back class and offers more artistic insight and reflection than other classes taught by Kilian.

MATERIALS LIST:

Students will be provided with a 25 lb bag of earthenware clay and a variety of glaze options.
