Whether you're picking up a brush for the first time or looking to refine your skills, you'll learn the essentials of color mixing, perspective, and composition. Along the way, you'll have the chance to explore and develop your own unique artistic style. By the end of the class, you'll walk away with a one-of-a-kind masterpiece ready to display in your home. 3 sessions: January 30, February 13, February 20 - No class on February 6

INSTRUCTOR BIO

Lauren Gaunt is a talented Roanoke-based artist specializing in oil and acrylic painting, with a passion for exploring various artistic mediums. A 2015 graduate of Kalamazoo College with a BA in Fine Arts, Lauren has shared her expertise through teaching numerous painting and woodworking classes for students of all ages. Currently serving as an artist-in-residence for the City of Roanoke, she continues to inspire creativity in her community through her innovative approach to art and education. 

CANCELATION POLICY:

• Cancellations made 1 week or more in advance of the class date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 3 - 6 days will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours to the class will not be refunded.
  • Students will have the option to transfer registration to another class in place of receiving a refund.
  • Special consideration will be given to cancellations due to health-related issues and family emergencies.

  • There will be no refunds or discounts given for missed classes.
