Exploring Printmaking (5-9yrs)

Let’s explore printmaking! In this 8 week class for students from 5-9 years of age, we will look at printing from various methods and produce prints. We will use symmetrical, found object, monoprint, and other techniques (even a fish!) to see the world and all it’s impressions! Wearing smocks or clothes that can dirty is a must!
All supplies provided by instructor.
Instructor: Kat Lamond Smith
Katherine (Kat) Lamond Smith is an experienced Case Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the government administration industry. Skilled in Art Education, Case Management, Art, Job Coaching, and Portrait Photography. Strong community and social services professional with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) focused in Art Teacher Education from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Cancellation Policy:
· Cancellations made 1 week or more in advance of the class date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 3 - 6 days will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours to the class will not be refunded.
o Students will have the option to transfer registration to another class in place of receiving a refund.
o Special consideration will be given to cancellations due to health-related issues and family emergencies.
· If you plan miss a session of class, please inform your instructor, or email our Program Coordinator, Lauren Hood, at L.hood@bowercenter.org
o There will be no refunds or discounts given for missed classes.
