The Bower Center and Little Otter Flower Farm are excited to come together and offer a family-friendly opportunity to enjoy the art of floral arranging. Join us for a workshop arranging fresh seasonal flowers at Little Otter Flower Farm, a new family-owned farm in Bedford County. They are offering a “random act of kindness” by providing an afternoon filled with flowers and tips on arranging. 

Adults 18+, children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Jennifer Kohn started the farm with her son Max to work with him and others with Autism to learn marketable skills and integrate into the business community. The core mission of the farm is not only to grow flowers, but also to grow people and community which is a natural tie to the Bower Center’s mission of encouraging our community to gather, connect, learn new skills, and gain confidence through the process of making and enjoying art. 

The afternoon will include an introduction of the farm and creating your own takeaway arrangement in a climate-controlled greenhouse using the flowers currently in season. Light refreshments will be served. 

All proceeds from your registration will support future creative activities at the Bower Center for the Arts.
