Needle felting is a process of securing fibers with specially made needles to create beautiful pieces of art. 

This class will explain the step by step process of creating your own felted card. Each card is blank inside to be used for whatever you please or just display around your home. We’ll be creating a peaceful scene with a cute sheep as our main subject. This class is an easy going pace, relaxing, and has a patient environment while you create a unique piece for a friend or loved one

Instructor: Belle Thomas
Belle Thomas is a long-time artist and needle felt teacher with a passion for the medium. Stumbling upon this medium by accident, she soon became an avid felter. She has been creating needle felt paintings for the last several years, and her work is featured in several locations in Virginia. Belle enjoys teaching and bringing this uncommon medium to the public with her monthly classes and events.
