Ryann Mason, a hometown girl from Bedford, VA is a disability advocate, a published model, registered nurse, adaptive athlete, member of the LGBTQIA community, a public speaker, and has reigned as Ms. Wheelchair Virginia for the years 2020 and 2021. 

In this cultural reflections program, Ryann will be sharing stories about living with a rare chronic illness called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, working as a nurse who uses a wheelchair and her role as a disability advocate for the past two years as Ms. Wheelchair Virginia. Her talks are always funny, poignant, and inspiring as she educates and entertains her audience about living life to the fullest despite the obstacles she encounters everyday.
