Spring Has Sprung! K-5 Clay

This class will teach students the three basic forms of hand building with clay: pinch, coil, and slab. Each week we will make a different garden or spring-oriented item, going through the process of planning and designing our creations on paper before building. Children will have an opportunity to express their whimsical side in decorating their creations. For those in grades K-5! 

MATERIALS LIST: 

All materials will be provided. 

INSTRUCTOR BIO:

Olivia is a hobby ceramicist who learned the art here at the Bower Center and has fallen in love. She has recently built a home studio where she shares her love for ceramics with her two youngest children.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Cancellations made 1 week or more in advance of the class date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 3 - 6 days will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours to the class will not be refunded.
  • Students will have the option to transfer registration to another class in place of receiving a refund.
  • Special consideration will be given to cancellations due to health-related issues and family emergencies.

  • There will be no refunds or discounts given for missed classes.
