Try something different … Tempered glass (aka crash glass) can be used for an entire mosaic or as an accent for one. Students will create 2 or 3 small pieces to get used to working with tempered glass while planning their own special design for a larger mosaic. Learn how to break tempered glass, to use it clear or over painted colors/designs, and to paint the glass! Printed papers and other materials can be incorporated into the mosaic. Learn how grout color choices make a difference.
