Description

This reception will feature 2020 National Juried Best in Show recipient Donald Sunshine and his solo exhibition A RETROSPECTIVE. The reception is from 5-7pm and will feature a gallery talk by Donald at 6pm. The reception is free and open to the public. There will be light refreshments and a cash bar. 

Donald Sunshine: A RETROSPECTIVE

"I guess at age 89 it’s okay to do a retrospective. Thus, as I consider my art over these many years, indeed all of my life, I realize that this has been, for me, a wonderful opportunity of discovery. Discovery through search and experiment to which the work, I believe attests.

Accordingly, I would urge you to view this exhibit with the foregoing intention in mind. Further the exhibit is organized based on three directions for my work – impressionist watercolors, art as commentary, and non-objective works."
