The Bower Center is proud to host the return of the Lenny Marcus Trio with featured guests, Ken Hitchcock and Sue Halloran on September 25, 2021, from 7-9 pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $15 or at the door for $20. Doors will open at 6:30 pm. Please no outside food or drink. Concession refreshments will be available for purchase at the show.

Jazz Times Magazine has described Lenny Marcus’ music  as “Infectious!” No wonder,  since Lenny worked for many years in New Orleans studying and performing with legends such as Ray Bryant, Ellis Marsalis, and Alvin Batiste. He has a strong blues-oriented left hand,  thanks to Bryant. This concert will Include featured guests, Ken Hitchcock (flute and saxophone), and Sue Halloran (vocalist) to join the Lenny Marcus Trio in doing a tribute to Chick Corea, a jazz piano master who passed away this year.  Sue Halloran and Ken Hitchcock put their love, laughter and talents together to demonstrate what it sounds like to make beautiful music.  Between them Sue and Ken have spent many decades in the music business. They are veterans of 40 years in the New York City’s most in demand musicians, performing and recording with the greatest Jazz, Classical, R&B, Pop, Soul and Latin Artists.

At seventeen, Sue was on the road performing while Ken was starting at Juilliard.
