Description
Explore the fun world of papermaking! In this course, students will learn how to make their own sheets of paper from recycled materials. These handmade pieces of paper will be used in future projects and turned into a unique sketchbook. Students will also learn that paper isn’t limited to just making pieces of paper, but also a great material to make their own paper pulp sculptures. All materials provided. Ages 6-9. Register by 9/1.
INSTRUCTOR BIO:
Anna M. Filiaggi graduated from Longwood University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in painting and drawing. Since graduating she has been an elementary art teacher, museum educator, an art instructor, and recreation specialist with both Lynchburg and Charlottesville Parks and Recreation. She has taught a wide range of mediums such as acrylic and oil painting, stained glass, fiber arts, and papermaking. She is excited to spread her love of the arts with the community of Bedford!
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made 1 week or more in advance of the class date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 3 - 6 days will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours to the class will not be refunded.
Students will have the option to transfer registration to another class in place of receiving a refund.
Special consideration will be given to cancellations due to health-related issues and family emergencies.

There will be no refunds or discounts given for missed classes.
